Spring Workshop, Georgia College

Dr. Wendy DeLeo LeBorgne will be giving a workshop on “Care and Treatment of the Singing Voice”. The workshop will be held at Georgia College. It will be in two parts from 10-12:30 and 2:30-5:30, with a lunch break from 12:30-2:30.
Guest clinician Dr. Wendy DeLeo LeBorgne will address:
• Methods for objective assessment of vocal progress
• Getting the voice back after sickness
• Recovering from and preventing vocal injury
• Dealing with laryngeal and/or tongue tension
• Strategies for singers who engage in high risk vocal behavior
Morning Session: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM

Afternoon Session: 2:30 – 5:30

NOTE: There are several events taking place in downtown Milledgeville Saturday morning and many streets will be blocked. Do NOT use highway 49, for it will be blocked downtown. If you are coming from the Macon area, use highway 22 (which turns into Montgomery Street).
Blocked streets are marked with ‘x’ on the attached map. Parking areas and Porter Music building are also indicated on the map. Street parking is free on weekends.
